PROMISED LAND – Cub Scout Pack 229 held their Raingutter Regatta at Promised Land State Park Beach Saturday, Aug 22. After building a sailboat, each Cub Scout raced their creations in a sealed rain gutter filled with water. To power their own boat, the scouts were required to blow air into their sail with a drinking straw. Some siblings and older Boy Scouts raced as well.
